New Restaurant Coming to Former LM Bistro Location

Gather will open at 4539 North Lincoln next month, according to Chicago Magazine.

A new restaurant is set to open in the space previously occupied by LM Bistro in Lincoln Square.

Gather is set to open in mid-December at 4539 North Lincoln, Chicago Magazine reports.

The restaurant is the brainchild of David Breo, formerly of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises and NoMI restaurant at the Park Hyatt Chicago.

Breo aims for a contemporary American menu with an average check of $33 per person.

“There is not going to be a lot of innovation—just really good food,” Breo told Chicago Magazine.

Chef Ken Carter, previously of Charlie Trotter’s Cibo Matto, will run the kitchen.

The new restaurant comes four months after LM Bistro owners closed its doors to relocate in River North.
