Businesses, Residents Celebrate New Chamber Location: PHOTOS

Local business owners gathered at the new Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce office at 2611 W. Lawrence Ave. for a Grand Opening celebration on Thursday.

Business owners have a new place to gather in Lincoln Square. The Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce moved its office to a much bigger space at 2611 W. Lawrence Ave.

Thursday, the chamber invited its members in for a Grand Opening celebration. Residents met in a space almost three times as large as the previous location at 4732 N. Lincoln Ave.

Executive Director Rudy Flores described the new office as “simple but professional.” The new location will allow the chamber to host meetings in a conference room and a offer a computer counter to its members.

“We want to have a space they can utilize if they don’t have an office or if they want to have client meetings,” Flores told Patch in January.

The change will also save money for the chamber, Flores said. The new office has a storage space, so instead of paying for a unit to house the organization’s tents and Christmas decorations, items can be stored on location.
