Amundsen Winter Carnival
Join us for the Amundsen Winter Carnival Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The carnival will include:
- traditional carnival games (e.g., ring-toss, etc.)
- inflatable and interactive games (e.g., bounce house, etc.)
- silent auction for local business merchandise
- craft making and face painting; and maybe some balloon animals
It's sponsored by the Student Activities Council (SAC). Admission is two (2) cans of nonperishable food or an equivalent cash donation. All food and cash donations will benefit the Ravenswood Community Services organization.
Tickets are $5 for a bundle of 25 tickets; otherwise $0.25 a piece. All ticket proceeds will benefit Amundsen student clubs and activities

More About Amundsen Roald High School
The Amundsen Roald High School opened in 1930 and today serves students in grades 9 through 12. This is a public school and is part of the Chicago Public Schools system. It has about 1,600 students. The school follows standard state curriculum and has subsidized lunch, health services, guidance services, a library and recreational facilities in the form of Winnemac Park and Jorndt Field. The school is home to the Vikings, who participate in major varsity programs.
