Whether you're a devout Catholic, or just a fan of fried fin, catch the Friday tradition at these local restaurants until the end of March:

Carol and Diana Himmel began their fish frys three years ago. Their menu includes fried cod and perch and the fisherman's platter catch of the day. Sides include German potato salad, fries and cole slaw. The restaurant will also broil or sauté the fish for their guests.

For the hungry fisherman, the Atlantic has an all-you-can-eat fish fry on Friday for $9.95. And the fish? Of course, it's Atlantic cod.

The British Pub also has an all-you-can-eat fried fish. Cooked in the traditional fish and chips way, $11.95 gives eaters unlimited fish and fries.
